I took this course with Rob on the 2015 PDN tour. The class was outstanding. I'm fairly new to pistol shooting , so I new I had some ruts (old habits) that needed addressed. Rob was quick to point those out to me as well as many others. The immediate feedback on the range was outstanding. Rob's technique is to teach effective, and efficient defensive shooting. If your a concealed carry person or looking to get your CCW permit I'd highly recommend this class.
Very glad that I made the decision to take the Fundamentals of CFS course during the tour stop here in Iowa.
The one day Fundamentals of CFS is like drinking from the proverbial fire hose, however don't let that stop you, Rob won’t let you drown. Regardless - whether you have had other prior training, or think that your skill levels are "good enough", or you've "been there, done that" - prepare to be humbled. This course pushed me outside my comfort zone and current limits. My favorite part was the super fun really sucky things designed to constantly and realistically increase our stress level forcing us to solve problems by incorporating ALL of the core principles and fundamentals. My skill level and confidence increased dramatically throughout the day enabling me to shoot faster, smoother, and more accurately than I ever have before. I still have lots of work to do…
Thanks again Rob for doing what you do!
My wife and I took the course in the Lakeville Gander Mountain Store in june. I wanted to learn techniques to better protect myself and my wife. I realized how little I knew. Great job Rob!
